Clevedon Quaker Meeting 150th Anniversary

Clevedon Quaker Meeting 150th Anniversary

Friends at Clevedon are holding an Open Day on Saturday 14th July 10 am to 4 pm to celebrate 150 years since the Meeting House first opened its doors.

Clevedon residents came to visit on that day  in July 1868 and local Quakers look forward to welcoming all who can drop in for any part of the anniversary day.

The Quaker Service Exhibition will be on display, featuring the Friends Ambulance Unit and Quaker Relief work during and after the World Wars up to modern times.

There will be items of local Quaker history, a craft stall, refreshments and a warm welcome all day at Friends Meeting House, 15 Albert Road, Clevedon BS21 7RP.

       Enquiries from Tom Leimdorfer 01934 834663; leimdorfer@care4free.net .
